Scratch urticaria is the artificial urticaria we often mention.

What exactly is a scratching urticaria? What are its causes? What symptoms does it present? How can it be treated? Is this type of urticaria contagious? Are traditional Chinese medicine treatments better? Scratching urticaria refers to two types of conditions: 1. Simple scratching urticaria, more commonly seen in women, is a physiologically abnormal response to the body's natural traits.

Following abrasion or injury to the skin by nails or other sharp objects, one may develop erythematous streaks. Most often, these do not cause itching or any other discomfort.

Another type of itchy rash, symptomatic urticaria, is common in young individuals with a predisposition to allergies.

The cause is usually due to physical irritation of the skin, which triggers an allergic reaction in the mast cells, releasing bioactive substances such as histamine. This leads to dilation of the skin's capillaries and enhanced permeability, allowing plasma and tissue fluids to penetrate into the dermis.

People suffering from this kind of scratch urticaria often feel itchy skin for no reason, but unlike the common urticaria, rubella lumps appear all over the body. Instead, when the skin is scratched with nails or other blunt objects, local areas first appear. The wheals then edema higher than the skin, and a flush appears on the edges of the wheals. The shape is much like the traces left by the skin being whipped by a leather whip.

Some patients with severe symptoms even have swelling of the mouth after biting their lips by teeth.

Etiology of urticarial vasculitis: The pathogenesis of urticarial vasculitis involves both intrinsic and extrinsic factors, with individuals having a predisposition to allergies. The most common allergens involved in the onset of urticarial vasculitis are medications, particularly penicillin and serum-containing preparations, as well as bacteria, fungi, plant proteins, and animal proteins.

The treatment of athlete's foot is of great importance, because the various fungi that cause athlete's foot often serve as potent allergens. When these fungi are ingested by the body, an antigen-antibody reaction occurs, which in turn leads to the development of itching rashes known as urticaria rubra.

To cure the scratchy urticaria, the first thing to do is eliminate the allergen, treat it with antibacterial and antifungal agents, avoid drug allergies, and avoid eating fish, shellfish, and other seafood products.

We also need to change our allergy constitution.

External factors include: diet, inhalations, climate, exposure to allergies, etc.

These are the most common causes of scratch urticaria.

Due to such complex reasons, scratch urticaria occurs repeatedly due to the intertwined causes and predisposing factors.

There are two symptoms of scratch urticaria. One is called simple scratch urticaria, which is more common in women and is a physiological abnormal reaction.

The reason is that rubella patches appear after the skin is scratched by nails or other blunt objects, and most of them do not feel itching or other discomfort.

Another type of scratch urticaria is called symptomatic scratch urticaria, which is common in young people with allergic constitutions.

The reason for this is mostly due to the allergic reaction of the skin after external physical stimulation, which causes mast cells to release biologically active substances such as histamine, causing skin capillaries to dilate and enhance permeability, allowing plasma and tissue fluid to penetrate into the dermis layer.

People suffering from this kind of scratch urticaria often feel itchy skin for no reason, but unlike the common urticaria, rubella lumps appear all over the body. Instead, when the skin is scratched with nails or other blunt objects, local areas appear first. The wheals then edema higher than the skin, and a flush appears on the edges of the wheals. The shape is very similar to the marks left by the skin being beaten by a leather whip.

Some patients with severe symptoms may experience lip swelling even after being bitten by teeth.
